The Times

In her review of Mollie’s Bristol, Susan d’Arcy thought Cribbs Causeway was an unlikely destination, until finding somewhere ‘fabulous’ to stay. She gave bonus points for smart hotel tech. And she had a hand in choosing Mollie’s as The Times’ Budget Hotel of The Year in 2021.

Heat Magazine

“If Schitt’s Creek has put you off motel living, a stay at Mollie’s Diner will change your mind. The hotel is kitted out with all the latest technology, and the stylish rooms feature Conran furniture, Hypnos mattresses, Cowshed toiletries, and Dyson and ghd appliances. The best bit is the chic ‘50’s inspired diner, which serves pancakes, burgers, rotisserie chicken and epic shakes.”

Hello! Magazine

Mollie’s is changing British perceptions of motels, says Hello! Magazine who loved everything from the un-fussy modern design to the Cowshed products in the bathrooms and ‘divine’ hot wings in the diner.

The Sun

The Sun’s reviewer loved the General Store and lobby area at Mollie’s Oxfordshire (Candy Kittens and Tony’s Chocoloney as well as comfy sofas and chilled beer).

The Daily Telegraph

After checking into Mollie’s Bristol, the Telegraph’s reviewer highlighted the comfy beds (so Soho House), family-friendly rooms, impressive sound insulation and the vegetarian breakfast.

Conde Nast Traveller Magazine

In the nicest possible way, CNT Magazine has us down as ‘Soho-House-Lite’: velvet armchairs, rain showers and ‘sexy’ lighting in the rooms, plus Dirty Burgers and Instagram-friendly décor in the diner.

The Independent

The Best New UK Hotels that opened in September 2021? Mollie’s brand of retro American cool made the hot list.

The Guardian

For Guardian food columnist Grace Dent, a weekend at Mollie’s Oxfordshire was a ‘cool blast of fresh air’; she was impressed by the staff, the buttermilk chicken sandwich and the cocktails and gave a big thumbs up to her breakfast (thick waffles loaded with berries and cream). She’d be happy, she said, to stay again.

The Sunday Times

Described as a luxurious but budget ‘offshoot’ of Soho House, Mollie’s Bristol made the Sunday Times list of Best Places to Stay in 2021.

Architecture Magazine

In an interview with Mollie’s Head of Design, Karen Lok, the magazine explored our ‘beautiful aesthetic’, our use of technology (alongside natural European oak) and our commitment to sustainability.
